The Recreational Bowling Program for adults is intended to be social and non-competitive, promoting commitment and independence. Each bowler is responsible for her own bowling fees, shoe rental and transportation (with agency assistance, where necessary).
Sponsored by Community Living Sarnia-Lambton, the program is open also to participants connected with other developmental services agencies. There are 5-Pin and 10-Pin leagues. Rules and schedules may vary somewhat between leagues, and each league has its own Coordinator. See below for details. .
The Sunday Night Bowling League has been running, and growing, for over 20 years. This 5-Pin league, bowl from September through April, with breaks for the Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter holidays. There are slight differences in the week-to-week schedules. Contact the Coordinator(s) for the league that is appropriate for you or call Norma Hills at 332-0560 for general information.
Score-keeping for these leagues is also an excellent opportunity for volunteering. It takes about two hours a week of your time and in ten minutes we can teach you everything you need to know - even if you've never bowled yourself. Don't pass up this wonderful opportunity.
Please ensure that the Coordinator has an emergency contact number for each bowler!
