Developmental Services Ontario assists adults with developmental disabilities and their families or caregivers to navigate the services that are available to them. Their goal is to help people with developmental disabilities to become more independent, to make their own choices and to get involved in their communities.
Community Living Sarnia-Lambton is an active partner of the P4P Planning Network. P4P is a family formed and directed non-profit organization providing resources and inspiration to families and their relatives with a disability. Connecting families and individuals to the Planning Network increases their access to many free and relevant planning strategies, tools and resources to help support people living with a disability to lead their best possible life.

The Guide on Person-Directed Planning has been written to assist families and people with developmental disabilities to plan for their future. It was developed to:
- highlight the importance of building a life in community
- show how the process of person-directed planning gives you more choice and control over your lives
- provide direction during times of transition
- offer practical suggestions on how you can proceed.
Person-directed planning puts the person with a disability at the heart of important decisions that affect their life.
The JumpStart Lambton Kent Teen Transition Committee has developed this easy-to-use resource providing information for youth with disabilities about transitioning to adulthood.
Community Living Ontario is the Provincial 'umbrella' organization for our Association and more than 100 more comparable to Community Living Sarnia-Lambton throughout Ontario. It represents about 12,000 people with developmental disabilities in the Province. They work with schools, families, employers and communities in advocating for the rights of people who have an intellectual disability.
The Canadian Association for Community Living is a family-based association assisting people with intellectual disabilities and their families to lead the way in advancing inclusion in their own lives and in their communities.
