You can find a job and jobPath is here to help!  jobPath, a service of Community Living Sarnia-Lambton, helps people with a disability FIND JOBS.  jobPath is different because jobPath participants are prepared to enter the workforce and are continuously supported by jobPath staff. Best of all, jobPath is free!

A free service of Community Living Sarnia-Lambton, Employment Transitions enables people with a disability to get good jobs. ET is a known industry leader in Ontario for assisting people with a disability to achieve their employment goals. We have an extensive customer base of businesses throughout Sarnia-Lambton who hire our candidates.

A service of Community Living Sarnia-Lambton, the school to work transition service is designed to assist students who have a disability aged 16-29 to obtain and maintain summer employment.  Summer Employment Transitions (SET) is the largest service of its kind in Canada and received the international ‘Innovative Practice 2017’ award at the United Nations in Vienna, Austria, as “outstanding in providing a practical solution to improve accessibility for persons with disabilities.”

The Ontario Disability Employment Network is a professional body of employment service providers united to increase employment opportunities for people who have a disability.

If you have a disability and need help with your living expenses, you may be eligible for the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP).

ODSP offers:

  • financial assistance to help you and your family with essential living expenses
  • benefits, for you and your family, including prescription drugs and vision care
  • help finding and keeping a job, and advancing your career

Founded in 2008, Disability Scoop is an American news organization devoted to covering developmental disabilities. With daily coverage of autism, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and more, this news source offers a timely and comprehensive take on the issues that matter to the developmental disability community.

Spotlight on Transformation is the ministry of Community and Social Services newsletter for people interested in services and supports for people with a developmental disability. It features:

  • updates on our progress in improving services and supports, and
  • inspiring stories of inclusion in communities throughout Ontario.
